As Live Production - Rebecca jenkins (Floor Manager Research)

Image
When looking for well know Floor Managers it's diffuclt to find any, they are not credited enough! I have researched Rebecca Jenkins before i started my own work as a floor manager. Becky is a Floor Manager on The well known Jeremy Kyle Show. She is orignally from Norwich and studied at the Norwich City College. She had started her journey as a Floor Manager on Jeremy Kyle back in 2005 and currently still holds the position.  Becky has worked as an Assistant Floor Manager on many different studio production, such as Turn Back Time (BBC2 Production) The Springer Show (ITV Production) The Quater Mass Experience (BBC Production). Jeremy absolutely loves working with Becky, she is fantastic at her job and has a lot of experience behind her.  Just like Becky i had to manage the floor crew and guests, Becky has a difficult job of dealing with Guest's who are difficult and have anger issues so she does get a little worked up during her time as a floor manager. She is a mo

As Live Production - Studio Entertainment Programme - 'Friends'

Friends is a As Live Studio sitcom made up of 10 whole series throughout the years. It originally started back in 1994 and finished in 2004 where it became a sucessfull hit. The show is American and broadcasted on NBC, it has now been published online to popular streaming services such as Netflic, Hulu, YouTube etc.   Me and Callum orginally have always focused on friends, and family oriented shows. This is what we orignally wanted to do within our pitch. Friends is about the in debthlive of 6 close friends, they are based in New York, within the show we learn about their love lives, work problems, family issues etc. Since the show has grown on pretty much everyone it had released 10 seasons (10 years) of the lives of all of the friends. Not only does this get the viewer/audience to interact and feel for the character but we enjoy to watch them be happy, sad, succesfull etc. Every character has a different background and furture to tell.  The way that this show is filmed is v

Today we had our PROPER first reheersal of the show with our presenters (Alfie and Adeline) we also used 1st and 2nd years as stand ins which helped out a lot! We were all put into our roles, me and George had to start preparing outrselves for a rundown of the show. Everyone had assigned positions and we all took charge of our roles, Me and George agreed that it would be easier to do the enitre show together but we would split into 2 halves as in i would be in charge of Adeline and George would be in charge of Alfie. I think this has worked very well especially it made it easier for directors to talk to us. When we got into the studios we had everything all ready to go, me and George set up the talkback and gave it out to everyone that needed them. We did suffer a few difficulties with some cameras since they didn't want to connect corectly with the gallery,as floor manager i had to communicate all the time with the floor staff making sure everything is clear and in position.

As Live Production - Filming 'Fashion Fails' VT

Image
Today we shot the 'Fashion Fails' VT with our contibutor's Josie and Ian. The group firstly went to film Ian from trading standards to get his opion and view on things and the second half in the evening was spent filming Josie and her fashion fail experience. It took place at my own home in the living room, since it gave a very homely warm feeling. It didn't take long and went very smoothly. The first half of the shoot i wasn't able to make but the group gave me some feedback on how it ended. When filming the second half of Fashion Fails we had a small issue with lighting because we didn't have any LED portable lights and my own lights were way too yellow, Andreya decided to play around the the camera and change the expsoure which made it look much better. Josie was calm and had a lot of fashion fails online already. She sudies at an open university and learns about geograhy and genetics. The story that she talked about was ordering a bag online and it b

She tends to avoid online shopping for clothing as she is petite with larger hips which makes it more challenging to find clothing than shopping in a physical store, she generally only buys items such as accessories/bags that are one size or don’t have a sizing option to avoid these problems. Usually when she orders clothing online she almost ALWAYS

He has always used Ebay and no other trendy online stores. A few times already he ordered t- shirts and shorts off Ebay from a private seller, when he purchased the items and received them they were so TINY it was unbelievable. The seller also did not take ‘refunds’ Kishan now realized that he won’t buy from sellers that don’t accept refunds due to it being a ‘scam’. When he ordered some shorts off Ebay he wasn’t expecting to receive joggers instead, it was the wrong size, colour and product. – the seller also didn’t accept refunds. (Not exact - Similar images)

She went on a shopping spree on the website and decided to buy 1-2 evening dresses that she fell in love with on the model. After 2-3 days shipping when she unpacked the dresses and found out that they were not what was described on the website, the fabric felt so cheap and the stitching was falling out. She had no idea it could have went so wrong! When she tried the dresses on they looked horrendous, the size was also too big. (waiting to see if she
